WHETHER IT’S DOGS, HUMANS, DRONES, I KNOW THERE’S BEEN A HELICOPTER FLYING OVER. YOU WANT TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF ALL THE AVAILABLE TECHNOLOGY BECAUSE AND RESOURCES BECAUSE. IT WAS DISCOVERED ON TUESDAY IN THE WOODS LOCATED ON FAIRMONT AVENUE AND MELVIN DRIVE. THE CORONER SAYS HE BELIEVES THE 56 YEAR OLD MAN HAD BEEN DEAD FOR SEVERAL WEEKS. The Sumter Police Department is investigating after two teens were found shot in a hotel room.(Video above: WYFF News 4 Evening Headlines)According to authorities, officers responded to the Sumter Palmetto Inn on North Washington Street in Sumter, South Carolina regarding a shooting at 10:45 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 23.When officers arrived, they found a 16-year-old and an 18-year-old shot inside a hotel room. The teens were both taken to area hospitals.Based on initial information gathered, a firearm was mishandled and discharged inside the room, officers said in a statement. No other information has been released at this time as the investigation is ongoing.
