I am impressed by the rave reviews that I have been reading about the Thickwall cylinder. I am new to vacuum pumping and wanted to know everything about it.
I visited the Thickwall site and was impressed by the range of products. I wanted to place an order but had no clue on how to go ahead. I am not interested in the starter’s kit. My friend suggested getting the cylinder and pump separately. I am keen to do so.
My question is whether a cheaper brake bleeder pump will fit on the Thickwall cylinder? Also, do I need a connector; if yes, which type?

Hey T thedeath1,
I have no clue why you want to buy separate pieces. It might be costly, but if you buy the whole kit together, then you will see better results.
That said, if you want a cheaper pump, go to Amazon, and get a brake bleeder pump, which can be easily fitted.
I’ll suggest buying silicone tubing as well as a male pump connector. 1 meter of tubing is enough. I suggest buying these when you go for the cylinder from Thickwall.

I agree with A Alexandoy for most parts. I do not agree with buying the tubing from Thickwall. They are expensive.
T thedeath1, visit a hardware store and get 1 meter of silicone tubing. Remember, the tubing should be 3/16” inside diameter x 5/16” outside diameter.
One pro tip – Do not try water pumping for some time. Try to gain mastery over air pumping first. Thickwall sells a small water container. If you wish to go for water pumping in the future, get your water container. Just remember to ensure that the water does not get into the pump or the gauge.

Thank you K Kye25. I was wondering if I need anything else…something like a female quick disconnect. Also, can someone tell the correct procedure of using the pump?

Nopes!!!! I do not think so. The cylinders supplied by Thickwall Cylinder have a female quick disconnect that is screwed into the top. The male disconnect is on the pump. If you are planning to buy another brake bleeder pump, then you will require a male quick disconnect. You will not find it in the brake bleeder pump. If you plan to get a replica at a higher price from a company that sells penis pumps, then it will come with a male quick disconnect.
Since you are assembling your system, then IMHO, you will need to buy these individually.

Here is a pumping guide. I hope it helps….
- Using a push-fit technique, connect the cylinder to your vacuum pump. The pump should have trigger vacuum release and pressure gauge
- Sit comfortably in a safe, private place
- Lubricate your co*ck using a water-based lube. This will allow you to have a tight seal. IMO, go for J-Lube. It does not harm rubber-based products
- Once everything is in place, start pumping. You should get a gentle tugging. If you feel pain or any discomfort, then reduce the vacuum. If it persists, STOP the pumping
Since you are doing it for the first time, remember to release the vacuum as often as possible. I won’t recommend removing the vacuum fitting for releasing the vacuum
For the starting stage, make sure that the static vacuum does not exceed 15 cm Hg/6 inch Hg/0.2 bar. 25 cm Hg is okay only if the vacuum is being continuously cycled slowly

Thank you MarQer for explaining the procedure in detail. You said about releasing the vacuum. How should one do that?

Just reattach the pump. Lower the pressure by using the pressure release valve present on the pump. TBH, I won’t be too stressed out if the pressure is between 4-5 Hg. However, if the pressure gets higher, you should be careful. If you are trying to go above 10 Hg, I’d suggest leaving the pump attached for safety. This will allow you to reduce the vacuum instantly if required, or cycle the vacuum.
Hope it helps!!!!!!

I have set up the complete system, and it is working beautifully. There was a problem with sealing, but I pump a little bit more to create a seal. When the whole pumping is over, my penis changes its color (became unevenly brownish). Some rest and the penis is back to the old self. The glans expansion was superb.
All in all, a wonderful feeling. Once I get accustomed, I will go for an advanced kit from Thickwall Cylinders.
